Welcome to the new AtariAge Store!

Welcome to the new AtariAge Store!

Welcome to the new AtariAge Store!  It's been a long time coming, but the AtariAge Store is now on a more modern platform (Shopify), which brings many new features, as well as more reliability, to the store.  And we will continue to refine this new store over time to bring additional new functionality, as well as aesthetic improvements to the store.

Here are some of the improvements you can find in the new store:

  • For international customers, we can now offer substantially reduced shipping rates. In some cases, shipping prices will be half the cost of what they were previously. This applies to packages that weight less than four pounds shipped outside the US (to 55 different countries).
  • UK customers should no longer experience any issues that would prevent them from completing the checkout process.
  • We've added more advanced product filtering options. For instance, you can search for any Atari 2600 games that support paddle controllers, or all games that offer a box option, or games that fall into particular genres.
  • We will soon begin offering digital game purchaes for developers who want to make their games available digitally.
  • We'll be adding products from Atari.com directly in the AtariAge store where it makes sense to do so. For instance, we will be adding the Atari 2600+, 7800+, and Atari 400 Mini consoles, associated accessories (such as controllers and extension cables), and any new 2600 and 7800 games that Atari has been publishing (many of which were originally offered via AtariAge).
  • New payment options are available, such as Venmo, Google Pay, and Shop Pay.  If you use Shop Pay as a payment option, your payment and shipping information is saved across Shopify stores, making the checkout process simpler and faster. Shop Pay also allows you pay for purchases in installments.
  • You'll no longer be logged out of the store after a relatively short period of time (which caused many orders to be placed as a "guest", meaning orders weren't directly attached to your account, making it more difficult to look up order status for unshipped orders, as well as review past orders).
  • There are many other improvements as well, such as the ability to add photos to reviews, as well as being able to comment on others' reviews. And we will continue to make improvements over time.

The first time you login, you will be required to update your password, but all your other existing account details and order information has been saved.  If you have any problems accessing your account, or you see problems in the store you'd like to report, please use the contact form to drop us a line.
