Atari 2600+ Console & Joystick

I am 57 and I remember the day my Mom purchased my Sears Tele-Games system. Of course, I was a spoiled kid and wanted the Atari branding on my system...lol But regardless, I had so many fun memories of playing the system with my friends. I had a ton of games. Sadly, over the years , the system and all games ended up at a garage sale. Fast forward to a couple of years ago when I saw the Atari VCS, and had to get it , and then the Atari +, which gave me all the feels of the O.G.(well, my Tele Games) and I actually went out and bought some old cartridges from a local garage sale. I have been having a blast, and in fact, I have pre-ordered the new Pac Man Edition. If you were ever a fan of Atari back in the day, I assure you will not regret your purchase! Also of note Atari is fully supporting this release by releasing new and re-releasing some original games . One last thing, it supports Atari 2600 and 7800 games.

Plays almost all the 7800 and 2600 games in HD, which is increasing often with updates, what few issues i have with it are also increasingly being addressed, great modern alternative for those looking for a console to collect for or for those wanting to play their old favorites in HD!

This is a great console. It gives a very nostaligic feel. It takes both 2600 & 7800 cartridges. The wireless CX40 controller is a very apperciated addition, letting the player sit farther away from the console than a wired controller allows.

Is amazing way better than I expected 🙌 works great with the wireless joystick. Easy to connect with HDMI. Picture looks great . Brings me nostalgia bit feels modern at the same time.

Oh my goodness! My childhood has returned in this console. The fact that I can connect this to my big screen TV and play it in widescreen is absolutely some kind of dream come true. The fact that the old game cartridges are coming out of the woodwork for next to nothing in price makes this console an absolute time machine. I couldn't believe how quickly I remembered how to play Adventure, Missile Command and Yar's Revenge! It's like no time had passed since I was a teenager in the 80s with my original 2600. The nostalgia attached to this thing cannot even be measured. Sure, there are emulator systems out there that have every game, but let me tell you, sliding a cartridge into this console, hearing that click and then flipping the switch to power it on? Yeah, you can't beat that. The controllers themselves bring you back to that 80s feel!! I can't believe I waited so long to order one and start collecting cartridges to build back up all the games I had 40 years ago. I'm not sure my wife likes it, though, as I want to play games when she wants to watch TV!

I love this product! Playing my original cartridges on the hd tv is a great experience. I recomend this product to anyone that loves retro gaming.
