Welcome back to the Atari 8-bit world of computing!

The 400 Mini is a half-sized version of the distinctively styled Atari 400, emulating the whole 8-bit Atari range from the 400 to the 130XE, and the Atari 5200 home console. Also included is the CXStick, a recreation of the classic Atari CX40 joystick, with an additional seven seamlessly integrated function buttons and USB-A connectivity.


Play one of the 25 built-in games, including: Lee, Berzerk, Millipede, Miner 2049er, M.U.L.E, and Star Raiders II. Save your progress at any point in one of four save slots per game, or even pause and rewind gameplay to help you through the most difficult parts — a feature new to the 400 Mini. Play your own compatible games via a USB flash drive.

Packed with Features

Five USB ports support the connection of joysticks, gamepads, USB sticks and keyboards. Use your favorite controllers and load up your own Atari 8-bit games.

Rewind gameplay up to 30 seconds

Now you can get past those extra challenging parts of your favorite games. Simply rewind back to a safe spot and give it another go. You can also save your progress and come back later.

8-Bit Emulation

Emulates all Atari 8-bit systems, from the 400 through to the 130XE, including the Atari 5200 Home Console.

HDMI-Ready

Easily connects via HDMI so you can enjoy every last pixel.

This is a great buy for someone who grew up play Atari 8bit games

This was a great buy for someone who grew up playing 8bit Atari games. The controller takes a bit of getting used to, as does the UI, but once you have it down, it's a lot of fun. I wish it included more games, but being able to add games via USB makes up for this. If you love old Atari 8bit computer games, this is a something to pickup for sure.

The 400 Mini is a good recreation of the original while emulating all of the 8-bit machines with modern connectivity. I plan to use mine for programming with alternative programming languages.
