Avalanche 2600

I purchased this game during the black Friday sale because I wanted a game to play with my new paddle controllers. Although the game play is simple it definitely is very challenging. I enjoy the simplicity of the game that is layered in a rich back story. Atari did well with the concept, the artwork, and the manual. I definitely felt like I was a kid again from 1982 playing my Atari.

Bought because of similarity with Kaboom! and the legacy of reportedly being the inspiration for that very game.

If you're into paddle games, especially Kaboom!, you need to check out Avalanche. A remake of an arcade classic it feels right at home on the 2600 with a paddle controller. Solid game for those that enjoy the old paddles.

Solid paddle game but different enough from Kaboom! and other paddle titles to warrant owning. Great pick up alongside the paddle pack.

This is simply an excellent paddle title. I was thrown into a Zen state playing this. Its just so mesmerizing and addictive! I found difficulty switches set to A, gave the boulders more sideways action while falling and this was much more fun and challenging!

Great use of paddle controllers; very fun. More challenging than you would suspect.

Fun game very addictive

Great game with the paddle controllers. Though is playable with joysticks or gamepads. Kind of reminds me of Kaboom from Activision.

Game is a lot more fun than you think it would be. Give this one a try.
