Danger Zone
Welcome to the Aerial Combat Fighter Weapons School. Forget everything you thought you knew about dogfighting with combat jets. Here you will relearn the art of aerial dogfighting.
At the Aerial Combat Fighter Weapons School, you will practice the forgotten art of the dogfight. Get in, get close, take your shot and get out. You can be a maverick or a goose, the choice is yours, but one thing is for sure, if you let your opponent on to your six, you will crash and burn.
If you are good enough, maybe you will get to call yourself the “Top Gun”...
Remember, no points for second place.
Gameplay
Before training can begin, each pilot must first choose from one of three different aircraft:
- Martin F16 Fighting Falcon
- Mikoyan Gurevich MiG21bis
- Eurofighter Typhoon
Each player can then choose their preferred camouflage colors. Next you can adjust cloud setup and various dogfight options (fuel, ammo, gun range, guided shots, bullet wrap, time of day, and either a timed game or a target score).
After options have been chosen, it's time to take to the air!
To win the contest, you have to outscore your opponent. You score points by registering gun hits on your opponent. A hit will score one point. The winner is the player with the highest score when either the timer runs out (timed games) or the score limit is met (scored games). The player with the highest score takes the coveted “Top Gun” trophy.

Get a Danger Zone Box!
If you'd like a boxed copy of Danger Zone, please select "Box Upgrade: Yes" at the top of the page before adding Danger Zone to your cart. Our boxes are professionally printed and include a box insert to hold your Danger Zone cartridge in place. We want you to play our games, so we have not sealed or shrinkwrapped the boxes in any way, allowing you easy access to the game cartridge and manual.
These boxes are the same size as boxes Atari produced for their games "back in the day". They look great sitting on a shelf with your other boxed homebrew games, or alongside games from the classic Atari 2600 library. We only have a limited number of boxes for each game, and there is no guarantee they will become available again once our supplies are exhausted.
Additional Information
Included with Danger Zone is the game cartridge and full-color 16-page manual. You can optionally purchase a professionally printed box (see above).
