Great classic game

When opportunities present themselves to feel like a kid again, at my age I try to embrace those moments. Galaga 7800 is just such a moment like that for me. This game is bright with vivid colors, sounds perfect, and plays like a dream on my 7800+ and gives me the rare opportunity to be 10 again! I can’t thank Atari enough for keeping physical media still producing in 2025! Such a great addition to their new physical game cartridge lineup!

Galaga 7800 has always been one of my all-time favorite games. The fast-paced action, the thrill of dodging enemy fire, and the satisfaction of blasting through wave after wave of alien ships never gets old. When Atari re-released it, I knew I had to get it immediately there was no hesitation.

The 7800 version perfectly preserves the classic arcade feel while delivering smooth gameplay that still hooks me for hours. It’s a reminder of why Galaga became such a legendary title in the first place: simple to pick up, endlessly fun to master, and packed with that addictive “just one more round” energy.

For anyone who grew up with arcade shooters or just wants to experience one of the greatest games ever made, Galaga 7800 is a must-have. Atari nailed it again.

My sister was absolutely brilliant with this game, and it is just as I remember it. Great memories!

The game play is just like the 7800 can emulate. It could’ve been a bit better to compete with the NES version. Overall, it’s good and has all that you want and need from the game.
