A masterfully created technical marvel with great game play

On a technical level this game looks and sounds great. The controls are very tight and responsive. I never blamed the controls once for my character's death. The layout of the controls is very good and works intuitively for this game.

The visuals are very nice and make very nice use of the Jaguar hardware. There are great lighting effects that add to the atmosphere of the game. Whenever I'm playing this game and someone walks by the TV they think I'm playing modern release on a modern console because it looks so good. The soundtrack is very good also and worth getting the CD if you like game soundtracks.

The levels themselves are well paced and challenging without being so frustratingly difficult that you get stuck on silly things. It's not so simple that it's boring either, it is a very nice balance. Overall very nice level design. It was really a joy to play and I have to commend the team for getting the controls so dead on. The array of movements available work very nicely to navigate around the various levels and find clever ways to avoid obstacles but it feels very natural after a very very short amount of time.

I highly recommend this release as a five-star crown jewel in the Jag catalog.

Fantastic Atari Jaguar game

Fantastic

It's a very interesting platformer that was made with a lot of care and concern. The game has a nice challenge, levels are well thought out and platforming sections are clever requiring a combination of skill and thought to beat a section. Performance-wise, it runs smooth, looks nice and has a soundtrack that ranges from upbeat, to solemn and anything in between. This is a really special game that's nice to just play by yourself.

If you own an Atari Jaguar you should own this game!

Absolutely brilliant, oozing atmosphere and polish! This bests most if not all of the original retail releases. Graphics, music, sound, gameplay, all top notch! You need this game!
