if you love Space Wars get this!

This is a fantastic game! Two ships facing off against each other with a metric ton of options and variations. The explosion effect really dazzles and I can't stop playing it. Worth every penny!

Addictive Atari 2600 Shooter That Keeps You Coming Back

I really enjoyed my time with Oh Shoot! on the Atari 2600. It’s fast, chaotic in the best possible way, and surprisingly polished for such a compact homebrew experience. What I love the most is how incredibly replayable it is every run feels different, every zone throws something new at you, and it’s the kind of game you keep coming back to just one more time. For a system this old, it’s impressive how fresh and addictive it feels.

Endless Variations

Everyone should try playing Oh shoot! Trust me, it's not a game that you can just play once and put it down. There are a multitude of game play options to choose from. Where the game shines brightest is in the "FX", two player mode. It's always more fun to play against a second player, and in "FX" mode, the environment may dynamically "ripple" in and out of play. With "auto" mode, players are thrust toward each other, and the difficulty switches determine if the player missiles will be blocked the games terrain. Every new match will begin with one of four ship types, the "Banshee" (jets), "Rangers" (choppers), "Destroyers" (Tie Fighters), and the "Specter" (UFOs), each have their own unique projectile behaviors. This is not to mention the huge palette of 1024 combat screens randomly selected at the beginning of each match. With all these options, the gameplay never gets old.
