Plan B: New Earth will NOT work on the Atari 2600+ or 7800+ consoles at this time. It does work perfectly on original 2600 and 7800 consoles. We are working to see if we can provide a firmware update to support this new title.
Is This Humanity's Only Plan B?
In this sequel to Plan B: Escape Earth, humanity lost Earth years ago to a ruthless armada from an unknown galaxy. Our warriors fought bravely, but in the end, we had to abandon Mother Earth and escape into the vast blackness of space.
We have spent years searching, yet have never found a suitable planet to start a new life. Until now, and just in time, too, as provisions were low, and hope was even lower.
This could be our new home. We could start new cities and terraform this world into our own...or so we hope.
The descent to the surface will take all the skill our pilots can muster, but even then, many will not make it, scattering precious cargo and stranding our citizens in the dangerous sky. The 200 kilometers down to the surface might as well be a thousand.
Even after a successful landing, the struggle is far from over. Some pilots have been able to save a few stranded citizens and their precious supplies. Still, our cities lie vulnerable. Additional supplies must be collected and brought to our new cities to power their protective shields. Previous scouting missions have reported that the native creatures are not happy about our arrival. These indigenous dangers must be dealt with, keeping in mind that time is of the essence.
Are you brave enough to pilot the next Shuttle and drive the Rover? Do you have what it takes to defend and replenish our vulnerable cities?
Be the hero and help secure humanity's foothold on...
...NEW EARTH!

Gameplay
Thank you, brave pilot. Your training on the NE-01 Shuttle and Rover has prepared you for this day. The Shuttle is fully charged and armored for your descent and transformation into land Rover mode.
Your mission is to descend to the surface and land safely, picking up as many stranded space-citizens as the Shuttle can hold. Thrust control, Shields, Photon Missiles and the Tractor Beam all use precious energy.
Use them wisely. You will encounter countless dangers. Many before you have failed. We have reports of some kind of space Vulture that emits high-power, sonic waves, and there are reports of lightning clouds full of strange energy. Be on your guard at all times.
Upon a safe arrival on the surface, the saved citizens will bring their supplies to the city. This gives you a head start in powering up the reactors and shields.
You must find more supplies and bring them to the city. Some are on the ground, and others, more powerful, float down to the surface from previous, but sadly, failed landing attempts. Use the Tractor Beam to capture them before they crash land. The area you are covering is large, so make sure to inspect the far reaches to the left and right of your landing pad.
When powered to 100%, the city is finally safe, and you will be called upon to help the next city. Beware, as you progress, the skies will become more treacherous, and the native creatures more angered at your presence.

Couch Compliant
Plan B: New Earth is a Couch Compliant game. What does that mean? A Couch Compliant game allows you to choose game options and start the game using the controller, meaning you don't have to interact with any switches on the console to do so. When your game is over, you can then return back to the title screen (if applicable) and start a new game without having to touch the console. You can view all Couch Complaint games here.Atari 2600+/7800+ Compatibility
