The city sewer needs a cleaning!

Rats have infested the city’s sewer system! Biff, Buzz, and Pork-Chop have been hired by the mayor to deal with the problem, but the sewers are a dangerous place! Nasty alligators prowl the pipes, choking gas drifts about, charges of ball lightning spark up in the darkness, and mysterious sewer gremlins love to play pranks!

The water system has been diverted to a back-up tank, but if the pressure gets too high the tank will discharge a dangerous flow of water. Can the ratcatchers use this water to their advantage, or will it ruin their day when it releases at the wrong moment?

Ratcatcher

Gameplay

Ratcatcher is a simple arcade style game for three players, largely inspired by Mario Bros. and Taito's Zookeeper.

The city sewer has been overrun by nasty critters, grab some friends and clean it out!

The rats need to be caught, trap them with the sewer gates if you can, but beware of deadly alligators that prowl the depths. The city water system can keep them under control, but deadlier hazards await as you descend into the depths.

Ratcatcher features three-player simultaneous action as you and two friends (or enemies!) race to rack up the most points. Work with your partners, using the gates and water system to keep things under control, or undermine your competitors, leaving them in the depths as alligator food.

Ratcatcher BoxIf you'd like a boxed copy of Ratcatcher, please select "Box Upgrade: Yes" at the top of the page before adding Ratcatcher to your cart. Our boxes are professionally printed and include a box insert to hold your Ratcatcher cartridge in place. We want you to play our games, so we have not sealed or shrinkwrapped the boxes in any way, allowing you easy access to the game cartridge and manual.

These boxes are the same size as boxes Atari produced for their games "back in the day". They look great sitting on a shelf with your other boxed homebrew games, or alongside games from the classic Atari 2600 library. We only have a limited number of boxes for each game, and there is no guarantee they will become available again once our supplies are exhausted.
