Step into the cursed land of Riesig, a realm once prosperous but now shrouded in silence and mystery. A forgotten war has left its powerful magic lingering, turning once-bustling streets into labyrinthine dungeons filled with twisted enemies and magical traps. But fabulous riches await those brave enough to claim them.

Inspired by the original Atari Adventure, The Realm of Riesig is a huge homebrew title featuring 30 distinct levels and over 2,000 rooms. In each level you must navigate an overworld and a hidden dungeon to collect the items needed to progress.

Gameplay

Your primary goal in each level is to find five items: the Key, three Gems, and the Golden Chalice. To start, you'll need to explore the overworld to find the Key and the three Gems while avoiding or killing the enemies. The entrance to the dungeon is hidden; you must walk over an invisible trigger to reveal the staircase.

Once inside the dungeon, your objective is to find the Chalice. Along the way, you can find a Sword to defeat enemies and a Magic Staff to temporarily repel enemies and disable traps. When you have all five items, you can open the castle gate and advance to the next level.

Can you survive the dangers, conquer all 30 realms and recover the riches of Riesig? 

Game Features

• Riesig is a huge 256K game, consisting of 30 separate realms, each with an overland maze, dungeon, and castle.
• Over 2,000 unique screens!
• Four skill levels: Scout, Explorer, Adventurer, Hero. 
• Select which of the 30 realms you wish to start on, as well as whether to begin on the overland maze or jump straight to the dungeon for that realm.
