Gameplay consists of multiple scenarios sprawling over diverse terrain, hunting down power nodes to allow you to progress, while at the same time fighting of hordes of enemies and scavenging for power-ups and other items!

About

The Chaos Engine was developed by The Bitmap Brothers and published by Renegade Software in 1983. Originally released for the Amiga, The Chaos Engine would later be ported to MS-DOS, Super Nintendo, Atari ST, Amiga CD32, RISC OS, and Mega Drive. The Chaos Engine received several awards from publications after the game's release.

Now this classic game from the 80s is now available to enjoy on your Atari Jaguar! The Jaguar version is a port of the Atari ST version, and features a completely new soundtrack composed by Roald Strauss (Gravitic Mines, Stormbringer).

Fun top down shooter. Only downside is the frame rate dips a bit. If you like over the top shooters like commando and MERCS give this a shot.
