Volunteers are needed to stop Xevions from taking over the planet! XEVIOUS is a scrolling shooter with both airborne and ground-based enemies to destroy and surprisingly deep lore for an early arcade game. Released in 1986 with the launch of the Atari 7800, XEVIOUS 7800 is a faithful port of the 1972 arcade version.

This was a really neat cartridge remake. It's pretty cool to add to my collection I use the game with my 2600+ and it works fine. If you like retro games, I would recommend picking this up.

If you are a fan of Xevious this is a great port

If you are a fan of Xevious this is a great port. The graphics are a little muddy but do a good job. Sound can be harsh so keep it low. But control is great!

Xevious in your living room in a faithful recreation.

Xevious isn't my favorite game. There are so many top down shooters that I think do what Xevious does but better. However, this is an absolutely faithful recreation of that game including even the fuel tank secret in it. The music and sound gets repetitive quite quickly and is a bit sharp and loud which is my only quibble. Otherwise, if you like Xevious you're sure to like this version.
